JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our dynamic team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, management of internal operations, and alignment of technology initiatives with the company’s strategic goals. This role blends strong leadership, technical expertise, and people management skills to drive operational excellence, foster innovation, and ensure efficient project execution. The IT Manager will oversee daily operations, resource allocation, and help cultivate a collaborative, high-performing culture within the organisation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to the team, ensuring a high level of productivity, engagement, and alignment with company goals.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Analyze internal processes and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency. Manage day-to-day operations of every department, focusing on team performance, system management, and technology infrastructure.
- Allocate resources effectively across projects, manage project dependencies, and address potential risks. Monitor and track project progress, adjusting plans as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Mentor team members and encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the organization’s infrastructure, ensuring that technology tools and systems are aligned with the company's strategic objectives and industry standards.
- Establish and track KPIs to evaluate team and project performance. Regularly review reports to ensure goals are being met and adjust strategies as needed.
- Monitor project and departmental budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Manage expenditures to ensure costs are kept within approved limits.
- Identify areas for process enhancement within the departments, and implement best practices to improve delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in an executive-level operational role in the IT industry.
- Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and performance tracking.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
