Festival is all about getting together! It is a wonderful occasion for people to get together, forgetting all the sorrows and troubles in life and spending quality time together. This will refresh you and give you a fresh energy to cope with life. Diwali is one such occasion all over India. The festival of lights bring family and friends together, make them have their best times of life and make memories to be cherished for the rest of our life.
OCTS being a family, never failed to celebrate such important days of the year. This will not only refresh our employees but also grow the bond to the next level which is very important for an organisation. The 2023 Diwali Celebration is something very special for OCTS than our previous ones. It is because S. Mangudi, the current MLA from our Karaikudi took part in this wonderful event in spite of this busy schedule. We are very honoured to be felicitated by his presence.
About S. Mangudi!
S. Mangudi has a long political history in his career. He has served as the President Of Village Council Of Sangaparapuram for 10 long years which is currently handed by his wife. In that period, he has done so much for the welfare of including inauguration of new primary schools, creating of new thar roads and focussed more on water management in the region. Presently, S. Mangudi is the Member Of Legislative Assembly from Karaikudi and is striving hard for the development of the area and welfare of people.
Diwali Celebrations In OCTS!
The event began with a strong welcoming speech from one of our employees Pramodhini and felicitation to the guest by our Director – Suresh Kumar, Senior Consultant Interventional Radiologist along with our board of advisors. Followed by a marvellous speech about our guest of honour S. Mangudi by another employee, Chris Roy. The service of this wonderful man towards society has made us awestruck and motivated us to do the same to the society in any ways possible. Roy was impressive with his words and is appreciated by Mangudi for his enchanting speech. Next was the main attraction of the event, it was the speech of the MLA. Our employees got to know about the real meaning of dedication & commitment in life after hearing about his long career in the service to people. He also explained the initiatives he has done to grow Karaikudi to become a corporation to compete with the standards of other large cities in Tamil Nadu. He is impressed by the functionalities of OCTS and wants us to grow to the next level so that we can remain a platform for youths to grow in their career. In conclusion, He has distributed the appointment letters to our joinees and Diwali sweets to all of our employees with a warm smile. The real fun began after this formal session, the stages were set for all of our employees to perform and show their talents after a delicious lunch. As usual, Ram Kumar stood up with his stand up comedy which made all of us roll on floors. Followed by various activities including dancing, singing, fun games and even a guitar performance. At last, the event concluded with an open dance floor with peppy music.

On the whole, this Diwali celebration 2023 is an event to remember for each of us! This made us so happy as the management to organise something for our employees to celebrate together and to add meaning to the word “OCTS Family!”.
