Every festival is meant to be cherished as a special moment in life. It is true with the 2025 Diwali celebration at OCTS. It was not just a festival, but a day filled with joy, colours, togetherness, and the true sense of family. We celebrate Diwali every year, and each year OCTS strives to make it even more exciting and memorable than the previous one.
To celebrate 2025 Diwali, the preparations and planning began weeks before the festival actually arrived. The management shared creative ideas with employees and encouraged them to exchange their suggestions, which sparked the excitement across the office. By the time the big day arrived, the atmosphere at OCTS was already glowing with anticipation and vibrant energy.
A Traditional Beginning to the Celebration
On the day of Diwali, employees arrived in traditional attire, boys in graceful dhotis, girls in elegant sarees and halfsarees. The colours of the attires and the festive energy added a special charm to OCTS, which perfectly reflected the spirit of one of India's most colourful festivals.
At OCTS Pvt. Ltd., we take pride in respecting our cultural values wholeheartedly, even while being rooted in the corporate world. This is one of the many things that sets OCTS apart. True to our core values and ethics, we started our day with prayers. God has blessed us with immense abundance in our lives. This day is the perfect time to express our gratitude for all the prosperity in our lives and seek blessings and strength for a bright, prosperous future. With hearts full of positivity and God’s blessings, our celebrations started.
A Day Filled with Enthusiasm, Talent, and Joy
From the beautiful rangoli at the entrance to the wonderfully decorated stage, our employees poured their creativity and enthusiasm into making the event special. At noon, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch specially arranged by the management, catering to the needs of both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
But the real celebration began right after lunch. It was a moment that everyone had been eagerly waiting for.
The event started with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, lit by our Chief Guest Mrs. Sushila Ma’am, the President, Karaikudi Lion’s Club, followed by Nancy, HR, ThilipKumar, Manager, Keerthika, Project Manager
The wonderful part is that OCTS warmly welcomed families and kids to the party, which is a fine example of our dedication to families and our emphasis on work-life balance. It made the party feel more like a big, united OCTS family gathering rather than a corporate function.
A Bunch of Memories
Our Diwali celebration featured a series of exciting activities, including graceful dance performances, adorable kids’ dances, soulful songs by talented employees, hilarious skits, fun-filled games, and many more memorable moments.
Mr. Saravanan delivered an insightful speech that took us on a whimsical ride through Diwali celebrations across various cultures around the world. He highlighted how Diwali takes different names, traditions, and stories, yet spreads positivity everywhere, as it travels through different cultures. His words were not just informative but truly inspiring for all of us.
Another speech was given by one of the kids, Sharvesh, which beautifully reflected how the younger generation wholeheartedly embraces our culture.
Notable among the events were new employees' performances. Competing with their seniors, they also eagerly participated in all activities. They danced, sang, played games and engaged in the preparations alongside their seniors. The senior employees warmly encouraged and supported them, showcasing the competence, friendliness, and a healthy bond between the new and long-term team members.
Throughout the event, refreshments and snacks were served, treating employees to a feast for both the palate and the heart.
Best Employees Were Honoured!
OCTS believes that celebrations should always leave people feeling valued. OCTS never forgets to recognise those contribute their potential for the growth of the organisation. Mr. Muhil Vannan had proudly been recognised with the “Best Employee of October 2025”. All participants were given gifts. Employees were also given a sweet token of love.
A Night That Ended with Lights and Lasting Memories
As the evening continued, the dance floor opened up. The laughter and joy filled the room as everyone came together to dance freely and celebrate.
But Diwali would not be complete without lights and sparkle. The night sky lit up with colourful fireworks arranged by OCTS, marking the perfect finale to a beautiful day. The vibrant bursts of light symbolized not just celebration, but hope, positivity, and the inspiring energy that will carry the OCTS family into a successful year ahead, both professionally and personally.
At OCTS, Diwali 2025 wasn’t just a festival. It was a reminder that when a workplace becomes a family, every celebration becomes unforgettable.
