We all know March 8th is International Women’s Day. Why is it being celebrated all over the world? It is to honour the significant contributions of women to society and mankind, acknowledging their achievements and bringing their struggles to the limelight.
At Overseas Cyber Tech Services, a company that has created an environment where women can grow and prosper, International Women’s Day was commemorated splendidly as a gesture to honour our female employees’ sincere dedication and contribution to the firm. This celebration aimed to encourage our women employees to grow more and reach greater heights in their professional and personal lives.
A Splendid Celebration!
On March 8th, the humble celebration was held at the OCTS premises at 4:00 p.m. The men of OCTS gave a warm welcome to the women employees with roses and chocolates as a token of love, respect, and admiration. The party hall was fully adorned with roses, balloons, and lights which created a rejuvenating and vibrant feel to the event. Behind the scenes, stand our male employees, who enthusiastically organised the events, and arranged everything for their fellow female counterparts.
For this special moment, OCTS has also extended its invitation to all the mothers and wives of the employees, as special guests to the celebration, recognizing their support to the company’s growth.
The party featured many events and fun activities to spirit up the event. It began with wonderful speeches from our employees. Mr.Chris Roy presented a commendable journey of Waris Dirie that instilled hope, confidence, and strength in our women’s hearts and really motivated them to strive for more. Mr.Saravanan emphasised the incredible power of women in his speech. Followed by our guest’s opinions on women’s empowerment, further motivating OCTS employees.
At the heart of the celebration were the moments of recognition and appreciation for the female employees and our esteemed guests. Beyond just acknowledgment, OCTS showcased even a deeper appreciation for female warriors. Female employees were honoured with awards and gifts for their invaluable contributions to the company as well as to the society. Our special guests also received gifts. The event ended with our honourable COO conveying his Women’s Day wishes to all the women presented there.
At the end of the celebration, the employees and presentees were treated with snacks and delicacies. Overall, the celebration has been a great moment to be cherished forever in the hearts of our female employees.
