While being the best platform for youngsters to start their career, OCTS Pvt Ltd is also vibrant about supporting budding startups like us as we were also a small startup a while back. We are humble and always grateful for our growth and are still on the run to become the best in the business. However, we feel it is our responsibility to show support to people around us in whatever way we can. The Board of Advisors of OCTS has turned up at the educational conference held by PepVil on 30th January, 2024 for students to choose their best path to have a wonderful career!
Eye-Opening Conference!
The event began with a ritual in the temple with all of the attendees gathered together and praying for a good cause. Followed by a wonderful and healthy lunch to all. There were about 200 college students from Thiruppathur, Melur & Singampunari who were eager to listen to the speakers.
Mr. Balaji from Domakaba, Chennai & Mr. Prakash Raman from HCL, Madurai have given wonderful speeches providing the basics of finding the best career of an individual’s interest. Next was the moment of pride for OCTS as the COO & Asst. Manager seeked the attention of attendees with their inspiring messages & stories.
Mr. Rishwanth Soorya, COO of OCTS began the speech with the importance of creating memories and having fun in our college days. It obviously grabbed the eyes of the listeners and pumped them up to listen to him. Nextly, he has used a small yet thoughtful story to make them understand the importance of self confidence in life. At last was the speech of Ms. Baby Marimuthu, our Asst. Manager/HR. She began the speech with the importance of grabbing attention wherever we go which is very important for a fresher who will be searching for opportunities. Her initiation to interaction throughout the speech made the listeners put their views on the topics discussed. She has shared her life experience all along the speech and helped them understand the importance of perseverance and commitment to our goal in life.
PepVil & Its Founder!
PepVil was established by Somalay Somasundaram, US-based agriculture scientist, and a former president of TNF(Tamil Nadu Foundation). It is aimed at providing opportunities to students from rural areas and help them have a great career. This budding startup has recently arranged a conference to educate students on the importance of career and to provide valuable insights for them to choose the best path.
“Similar to last year, we have arranged this educational conference to help students prepare for their life & career after completing their degree course. We feel privileged to arrange this event and would like to thank BOA of OCTS and other wonderful people in our program for enriching the rural college students with your experience and insights,” mentioned Somasundaram on the event!
“It was really an amazing conference and we are really privileged to hear the experience of these professionals. It motivates and gives me a spark of self confidence to face my life. ALl of their words will definitely help me choose the best career according to my interest,” said a student on the first row!
On the whole, It was a great take away for all the students who attended the conference and of course a learning experience for each of us as there is always something to learn from everybody. We wish all success to PepVil and its wonderful initiatives. We feel privileged to be a support to this wonderful move that will help children to choose the best career for their life.
